Bloody Dreams

I had another nightmare about werewolves! I finally got some sleep last night and wouldn’t you know it, I spent the night running. Ever since I’ve started writing The Calling, my dreams have taken on an odd twist. Not that they weren’t odd before but I rarely have nightmares. Now, I find myself waking tired. You would be too if you spent the night running for your life! LOL My husband thinks I’ve gone over the deep end when I tell him about my dreams. I guess I would too if someone told me stories of blood and gore at breakfast.

The worst part of the dreams are… I’m such a GIRL in them! LOL I run through the woods, screaming like a banshee, and end up in some life or death situation with some snarling, hungry thing that I just KNOW wants to have me for lunch and I end up turning into some sniveling snot-bag. Why can’t I be a kick-ass heroine in my dreams instead of the simpering little thing that always dies after the first act?

I guess the werewolf dreams aren’t too bad. It DOES give me new ideas for my stories. At least I’m not dreaming of burying bodies now. That was last month. Of course, my husband wasn’t amused about those either, especially when I told him I had him helping me (in the dream) to dispose of nameless corpses. LOL

He thinks there’s something seriously wrong with me. He’ll be carting me off to therapy soon. I’m sure of it!
