I’ve been keeping a secret from my readers. One that will knock your socks off! Author Candy Nicks and I have been planning a brand new paranormal series and I can’t wait to tell you about it. Coming this summer, we’ll debut Cirque Demonica, a series of novellas featuring preternatural creatures who’ve been cursed, doomed to roam the world inside the confines of a circus that plays on people’s fear. Enter if you dare… I love saying that last part. hehe And I also love this idea so much its been a battle to keep it to myself! I’ve had to bite my tongue to keep from blurting prematurely about it and I just can’t hold it in any longer. I’ll bust if I do. LOL The way the series is designed, Candy will have her own characters/novellas and I’ll have mine. We each have four books we want to write and I’m so excited about the characters I’ve chosen, some of which are going to be a challenge. I’ll not say too much about “who” the characters are, but I will be writing about a werewolf, which will be the easiest as I’ve written them before. The other three characters are uncharted territory and I can’t wait to introduce them to you. As for Candy, one of her stories will feature a vampire. I’ll let her tell you about her other characters when she’s ready. I don’t want to steal her thunder! I hope you’re all as excited about this new series as we are. Today’s Six Sentence Sunday comes from book 4 in my Wicked series, Wicked: Sweet Temptation. This novella was, at the time, the most blush-inducing story I had ever written. I don’t blush anymore when writing and it isn’t because the stories are no longer hot. I finally conquered my embarrassment of writing naughty words. LOL “Put me down and stop calling me Tinker Bell. I told you it was degrading.” “No its not. It suits you perfectly. You’re small enough to fit into my pocket but at the moment, I’d rather you be down the front of my pants.” She glanced down and raised one eyebrow at him. “You aren’t wearing any pants.” “Then you’ll have no problem filling that pretty mouth of yours with my dick.” Can I just say that I LOVE Mick? 13 New Years Resolutions – I Probably Won’t Keep. Exercise more. I have a brand new treadmill that still isn’t broken in. Lose a few pounds instead of putting more on. Kill my addiction to Sundrop. (This one will probably never happen. I’ve tried too many times!) Write at least one long novel to go with the shorter novellas I have planned. Stop procrastinating. Spend less time talking about writing and actually…write. Stop obsessing over things I have no control over. Read more than I did last year…which won’t be hard. I only read 35 books in 2011. Pitiful. Enjoy my weekends instead of working through them. Have more ‘family’ dinners. Why do we only plan a few a year? Watch all the movies I still haven’t seen…which is a lot. Start dressing everyday instead of living in my PJ’s! Visit my parents every week whether I feel like driving or not.  There’s this week’s 13. What about you? What are your New Years Resolutions?
